Under Canvas, an outdoor destination hospitality experience with upscale, safari-style accommodations, is adding Under Canvas Bryce Canyon in southwest Utah to its collection of eight other locations in June 2022. Under Canvas currently operates in Yellowstone and Glacier in Montana; Moab, Zion and Lake Powell-Grand Staircase in Utah; Grand Canyon in Arizona; Mount Rushmore in South Dakota; Great Smoky Mountains in Tennessee; and Acadia in Maine.
Situated on 750 acres of secluded high mountain plains with expansive views of Mt. Dutton to the west and the Escalante Mountains to the east. Located 15 minutes from Bryce Canyon National Park, the solar-powered Under Canvas Bryce Canyon will be 7,600 feet in elevation and surround by forest and feature 50 canvas tents on elevated decks, each with a private en suite bathroom with hot shower, sink and flushing toilet. Far from rustic, tents are furnished with plush king-size beds, luxury linens, USB charging packs, bedside lanterns and a wood-burning stove.
The new camp centers is designed around a lobby lounge tent and large outdoor patio and will feature locally infused food and beverage concepts along with fire pits and all the fixings for nightly s’mores. Complimentary camp and adventure programming is included. The inaugural season for the Bryce Canyon camp is June 2 – September 30, 2022.
For groups, Under Canvas can build an original event venue for a corporate retreat or private event at a desired location with its pop-up glamping experiences. A front desk, housekeeping, turndown service, campfire tenders, upscale restroom and shower trailers can be part of the mix. A beauty bar, bar and lounge, meal space and lawn games also are on the menu of possibilities.
