The Westin Riverfront Resorts & Spa at Beaver Creek Mountain recently promoted Beth Olson to a new position as Director of Catering & Events. Two other staff changes included the hiring of Jing Butler as the Executive Meetings Manager and Jessica Gillespie as the Catering & Events Manager.
Before joining The Westin Riverfront staff, Butler most recently served as the director of sales at the Aloft Charleston Airport and Convention Center in South Carolina. After graduating from the IHTTI School of Hotel Management Basel in Switzerland, Butler served as the director of sales at the Comfort Suites West of Ashely in Charleston and as an events coordinator at The Arrabelle at Vail Square.
Gillespie, who graduated from Florida State University and holds an MBA from the University of South Florida, most recently held the position of special events coordinator at the Sandpearl Resort in Clearwater Beach, Fla.
Olson joined The Westin Riverfront’s sales team over a year ago as the catering and conference service manager. Previously, she worked as the banquet captain at The Arrabelle at Vail Square and as an account manager for Vail Resorts, Inc.
