Great Wolf Lodge Mason looks forward to a multimillion-dollar renovation scheduled to be completed prior to the upcoming holiday season. Inspired by the company’s newest properties, all 401 guest suites, public areas, corridors and stairwells will be revamped with a modern Northwoods lodge feel in mind.

“This is the most extensive renovation project since Great Wolf Lodge Mason first opened in 2006. The renovation provides fresh and airy contemporary updates within public areas, corridors and stairwells that guests will feel from the moment they walk in,” says Kevin Eldridge, general manager of Great Wolf Lodge Mason. “All of the renovations and upgrades have been carefully chosen to enhance our guests’ experience.”

The $8 million in refurbishments will bring dark wood tones complimented by bright and fresh accents to each space. Specifically, in the guest rooms, new flooring, fresh paint, light fixtures, furnishings and artwork will bring modernity to the brand’s Northwoods theme. An increase in USB ports will add to the property’s in-room conveniences. Offering 12 different suite styles, guests are able to choose which style will accommodate them best. A popular option for multi-generational families, the Wolf Den and KidCabin suites feature a private alcove for kids including bunk beds and a playful theme.

Great Wolf Lodge Mason’s conference center will showcase refinished air walls, upgraded AV, Wi-Fi and new classroom tables and display ware. Looking into 2020, the property is excited to have new banquet menus and banquet chairs.

The renovation is set to be completed by late December 2019. Not to worry, the acclaimed 79,000-square-foot indoor waterpark, attractions and eateries are remaining open during the renovation project.

Hyatt Regency Aruba Resort Spa and Casino is completing the second phase of its multimillion-dollar renovation, resulting in new guest rooms, an adults-only pool and private outdoor event space.

Formerly known as the Blackstone Hotel, the property will reopen as the Kimpton Cottonwood Hotel in spring 2020. Located in the Blackstone District, the oldest neighborhood in Omaha, Nebraska, the lively area is home to some of the city’s best bars, restaurants and nightlife. Its new name, Kimpton Cottonwood Hotel pays tribute to the original Blackstone Hotel’s Cottonwood Room bar that housed a Cottonwood tree growing from the center of the circular bar.
