Sometimes there is no time to wait for someone to return a phone call or an email to provide insights about a venue and the services, amenities, activities, and accommodations offered there. To simplify this situation and to offer convenience for meeting and event planners, Hyatt Hotels Corporation is introducing Event Experience Guides as part of Together by Hyatt.
How It Works
Planners now have an interactive, easy-to-navigate online platform with access to property-specific planning resources. Highlights of information available include venue photography, capacity charts, detailed floor plans of event spaces, preferred vendor options, technology resources, and food and beverage menus. In addition, sustainability fact sheets provide an overview regarding how a property is addressing water conservation, waste, responsible sourcing, and more. Perhaps the biggest benefit is streamlining communication between property teams and meeting planners by having all resources accessible in one place.
Availability
Event Experience Guides are currently available for select U.S. properties, including Grand Hyatt, Hyatt Regency, Andaz, Park Hyatt, Thompson Hotels, and Hyatt Centric brands. Hyatt Hotels Corporation is introducing Event Experience Guides by July 2023 for JdV by Hyatt, Destination by Hyatt, Alila, and The Unbound Collection by Hyatt properties in the United States. Hyatt hotels in Europe, Africa, Middle East, and Asia Pacific are anticipated to have the capability by the end of the year, with Hyatt Place and Hyatt House following in 2024.
“The Event Experience Guide is an evolution of our meeting and event philosophy Together by Hyatt, which truly reimagined the meeting experience for our group customers,” says Jack Horne, global head of sales and revenue for Hyatt Hotels Corporation. “It invites planners to easily explore our suite of tools and inspiration on their own terms.”
Planners interested in accessing Event Experience Guides should reach out to the events team at specific hotels of interest.
