IMEX America 2022 has been recognized as the fastest-growing trade show in the U.S. The IMEX Group was awarded the accolade at Trade Show Executive’s Fastest 50 Awards & Summit, with the Las Vegas-based show taking first place for fastest-growing show in North America by number of exhibitors. The show, which took place Oct. 10-13, 2022, was also recognized in several other award categories and ranked:
- 38th for growth in net square feet
- 49th by number of exhibitors
- 68th by total attendance
“IMEX America has grown substantially since its launch in 2011, in no small part thanks to the hard work, dedication and sheer passion of the team here in the UK and our partners in the U.S.,” says Carina Bauer, CEO of IMEX Group. “We’re thrilled with this national recognition placing our show as the fastest-growing trade show in the whole of North America in 2022.
“Last year’s edition of IMEX America set a new benchmark,” she adds. “It was 45% bigger than the previous year with an additional 1,063 exhibiting companies, plus 40% of returning exhibitors increased their booth space. What’s more, the show was a powerful and uplifting reflection of our industry’s post-pandemic bounceback with international exhibitors returning in strong numbers—over 3,300 exhibiting companies from 180-plus countries.”
IMEX America continues to be a firm fixture on the schedule of its clients with the show in the Top 5 shows ever measured by Explori from an exhibitor perspective in 2021 (out of over 2,000 shows measured). Last year, the show ranked in the top 1% for overall satisfaction and NPS scores.
Trade Show Executive’s Fastest 50 Awards & Summit took place May 1-3 and honored the fastest-growing trade shows held in the U.S.

This year’s IMEX America will take place Oct. 17-19 at Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada. IMEX Frankfurt will be held May 23–25 in Frankfurt, Germany.
