According to a report with data from Expedia, Vrbo, and Hotels.com, the high-level travel demands seen over this summer are expected to continue rising as the cooler fall months approach. According to Expedia, flight searches for trips this fall are up 15% and hotel searches increased by 20% since last fall.

If you’re looking to host a budget-friendly event this fall and are searching for affordable ticket prices for attendees, the report named a few cities to look at traveling to where average ticket prices for domestic flights are down 20% or more. These cities include Juneau, Alaska; Seattle, Washington; Denver, Colorado; Chicago, Illinois; and Los Angeles, California. The report also notes that, for traveling this fall, booking flights 30 days in advance is the sweet spot for good deals.
