A new perk for planners to keep an eye out for when booking stays at Marriott-branded properties will be the added benefits now available for the soccer fans in their groups through the new partnership between Marriott and the U.S. Soccer Federation. Announced on Jan. 18, the collaboration between the two entities will be specifically brought to life at SpringHill Suites by Marriott properties, a brand with more than 500 properties across the U.S. and Canada.

Part of the partnership is aimed at offering fans opportunities and benefits through two loyalty programs, U.S. Soccer Insiders and Marriott Bonvoy. The Marriott Bonvoy loyalty program allows members to earn points for each stay at a Marriott property and redeem them for things like free nights and upgrades. Fans can now also become U.S. Soccer Insiders to earn perks like presale ticket access and exclusive experiences. There will also now be access to a customized Travel Hub that will allow loyalty members to purchase both tickets and hotel room reservations in the same place online.

“We’re thrilled to welcome Marriott Bonvoy to the U.S. Soccer family and our growing portfolio of purpose-driven strategic partners,” says Dan Gaiman, vice president of partnership development for the U.S. Soccer Federation, in a prepared statement. “Through its array of best-in-class hotels, Marriott Bonvoy and its SpringHill Suites by Marriott brand will unite our fans through enhanced travel experiences while also aligning with some of our most important organizational values, like growing the game, investing in grassroots soccer, and women’s empowerment.”

All perks and benefits for fans will center around U.S. Soccer events, including Men’s and Women’s National Team matches, SheBelieves Cup, SheBelieves Summit, and the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup. The SheBelieves platform is inspired by the U.S. Women’s National Team and focused on encouraging young women and girls to pursue their dreams, athletic or otherwise. The campaign has evolved over the years since its launch in 2015 as a strong message of empowerment for communities across the country, and is spearheaded by the annual SheBelieves Cup presented by Visa, and the SheBelieves Summit presented by Deloitte.

What’s more, Marriott Bonvoy and U.S. Soccer also plan to capitalize on high-energy U.S. Men’s and Women’s National Team matches by giving Marriott Bonvoy members access to memorable soccer experiences from Marriott Bonvoy Moments—a platform where members can exchange points for exclusive packages. Think things like exclusive suites, game-day access, a Marriott Bonvoy fan section, and meet and greets with players.
