AmpliVox Honored For Disaster Communication System

By M+E Staff

On Nov. 16, AmpliVox was awarded the ASTOR Award for the Best Disaster Preparedness/Disaster Recovery System, presented at the 2016 ISC East Show in New York.

The AmpliVox Radio Hailer is a transportable system that allows for communication even when other sources have been eliminated. The Hailer joins with two MURS radios, one for receiving the other for transmitting. Additionally, it includes an amplifier, a horn speaker that has 108 dB of sound, and a warning siren with 120 dB.

“We appreciate this recognition of the Radio Hailer as an outstanding disaster response communication system,” says Don Roth, CEO, AmpliVox. “Its versatility, power and durability make it an excellent system for all types of emergency situations, including public safety, education, industrial, and corporate settings.”

In times of crisis, communicating clearly is crucial. With this system, leaders and civilians alike will be able to correspond and amplify their messages to deliver safe and succinct instructions.
