By M+E Staff

Associated Luxury Hotels International has officially added its 24th luxury hotel in Florida: the Four-Diamond Omni Orlando Resort at ChampionsGate. The 769-room resort is surrounded by 36 holes of Greg Norman-designed championship golf, 15 acres of recreation and pools, a 10,000-square-foot Mokara Spa, the David Leadbetter Gold Academy and much more. Most importantly though, it offers 128,000 square feet of meeting and banquet space that include three ballrooms, 48 meeting rooms and 70,000 square feet of outdoor space.

“This resort is now served by the ALHI Global Sales Organization to the North American Meetings & Incentives (M&I) marketplace,” says David Gabri, CEO, ALHI.

In 2017, the resort will undergo a $40 million expansion project that will add 93 guest rooms, more meetings and event space, another restaurant and a wave pool. Situated outside of central Florida, Omni Orlando Resort is a little under 30 minutes away from the Orlando airport and 6 miles from the Walt Disney Resort.

“Omni Orlando Resort at ChampionsGate is a remarkable resort, with a truly lush setting and so much to offer to groups,” says Gabri. “Add in its convenient access to the Walt Disney World® Resort, and its impressive new offerings, and we are very proud to showcase this extraordinary resort to groups across North America.”
