Restaurateur Marty Grims’ newest restaurant venture, Autograph Brasserie, recently opened. Located in Eagle Village on the Main Line in Wayne, PA, Autograph Brasserie celebrates those individuals, who left their signature on popular American culture, as well as the culinary inspirations of France, Italy and Spain that have molded American cuisine today.
Grims partnered with Ralph Fernandez, his former executive chef and partner at the Moshulu. The building and its location in his neighborhood on the Main Line was the perfect setting for this concept. After a one year renovation guests are welcomed into a modern, comforting space with the timelessness of a well-worn restaurant. Marty collaborated with David Semerjian and Barbara Balongue, who also worked on the White Dog Cafes, transforming the restaurant space into his vision. The restaurant has 160 seats with additional outdoor seating on the patio soon to be opening in the next few weeks. Private Parties will be accommodated throughout the restaurant.
Executive Chef Ralph Fernandez’s contemporary American menu is inspired by the flavors and classic dishes from France, Spain, Italy and America using the best ingredients available. Autograph Brasserie serves the finest steaks from ranches throughout the Midwest, fresh seafood and hand-made pastas. This chef driven menu offers something for everyone with dinner entrees ranging from $19 for an omelet or prime burger to a $69 18oz Dry Aged Angus Kansas City New York Strip with two side dishes. The restaurant offers a 150 bottle wine list as well as modern interpretations of classic cocktails and cordials and eight craft beets on draft. Pastry Chef Colleen Winston’s house baked savory Gougères are served at the start of each meal, and her decadent desserts are the perfect ending.
Autograph Brasserie’s service team is led by General Manager Christian Leo, previously of White Dog, and Director of Operations, Jean-Mario Irigon, who brings his knowledge and passion as a Michelin-Star Operator and certified sommelier to Autograph Brasserie.
Marty Grims of Fearless Restaurants also owns and manages the Moshulu Restaurant and Bar on Penn’s Landing, three White Dog Cafe locations in University City, Wayne and Haverford, as well as Daddy O Hotel and Restaurant, Plantation Restaurant and Tuckers Tavern all located on Long Beach Island, New Jersey.
