The Bavarian Inn and Restaurant and Bavarian Inn Lodge have recently been named a 2016 Michigan Works! Impact Award winner.
Both the restaurant and lodge were honored for adding new employee positions in partnership with Michigan Works!, transformational training activities and “effective talent pipeline development,” according to Michigan Works! Association CEO Luann Dunsford.
Dunsford, in making the presentations, said the awards recognize “significant economic accomplishments within our communities.”
The Bavarian Inn Restaurant and Bavarian Inn Lodge were both nominated for the award by the Great Lakes Bay Regional Michigan Works! Office, represented by business services representative Amy Ames, who said receiving the award “is a testament to the importance of workforce development partnerships.”
The Impact Awards are an opportunity for state leaders to recognize the economic development success being achieved in communities across Michigan. Dozens of honorees from across the state received awards presented by their local lawmakers and state workforce development officials.
