On Oct. 25, the Boutique & Lifestyle Lodging Association revealed the BLLA awards at the Gala & Awards Dinner Celebration at The Beverly Hills Hotel. Casa Madrona Hotel & Spa was named the runner-up for Boutique Hotel of the Year.
“We were thrilled to be included as a finalist in the category of Boutique Hotel of the Year,” says Carmen Cruz, general manager of Casa Madrona Hotel & Spa. “Our staff is dedicated to impeccable service, and we have seen the realization of incredible vision from our ownership group in taking this historic asset and reimagining it as a modern luxury boutique experience. It is an honor to receive recognition from BLLA.”
Casa Madrona Hotel & Spa is located in Sausalito, Calif., near many shops and restaurants, only a few miles from Napa and Sonoma wine countries. The property is on the National Register of Historic Places. The hotel features everything from modern rooms to cottages on the hillside to large suites. Additionally, guests can use the hotel’s spa and have access to views of the San Francisco skyline and harbor.
The BLLA, founded by Frances Kiradjian, now has more than 750 members. The purpose of the BLLA is to celebrate small, independent hotels, and connect boutique hotels with travelers, suppliers, vendors, agents and more.
