Chuy’s Tex-Mex Opens First Location in Colorado

By M+E Staff

Austin-based Chuy’s is opening their first Colorado location in Denver this June. The Tex-Mex joint will be located at 6595 W. 104th Ave. in Westminster. Chuy’s was founded in Austin back in 1982 and offers diners homemade Tex-Mex in a quirky environment.

Their most popular dishes include: stuffed chile rellenos, chicka-chicka boom-boom enchiladas and creamy jalapeno.

“We’re thrilled to bring Chuy’s to Colorado and North Denver,” says local owner and operator Steve Treacy. “We’ve received so many requests to open in Colorado and we’re excited to finally give this great community the fresh Tex-Mex they’ve been asking for.”

Chuy’s also offers a happy hour, Monday–Friday from 4–7 p.m. Customers can enjoy discounted drinks alongside their fully loaded nacho car that has free chips, salsa, queso and more.
