D’Amico & Partners Welcomes New Restaurant, The Brooklyn, to the Family

By Kassidy Tarala

New Brooklyn Park restaurant joins the D’Amico Catering family in newly updated spaces open to Edinburgh USA guests, public golfers and St. Andrew’s Club members. The Brooklyn offers a chic, clubby bistro  that features American fare with a focus on local ingredients and new flavors. In addition to its locally sourced produce, The Brooklyn supports Twin Cities-based Tattersall Distilling with many of its craft cocktails.

Since opening in April, the D’Amico & Partners team says early favorites of guests include sun fish tacos, tamarind and honey pork ribs, pan seared Skuna Bay salmon and key lime blackberry pie. Though other D’Amico & Partners restaurants are known for their neighborhood fast casual fare with counter service, The Brooklyn offers somewhat different décor and menus.

“It’s an appropriate fit for a public golf club and its clientele, but will also act as a destination in the northern suburbs for a fun night out with friends or a Sunday brunch with family,” the D’Amico & Partners team says. “We kept all of these different groups in mind while creating a comfortable atmosphere, whether it’s to grab a sandwich while playing 18 holes or booking a reservation for six to celebrate a special anniversary.”

The D’Amico & Partners team says they chose Brooklyn Park as the location for a new restaurant concept because it is recognized as a prosperous and growing area of the Twin Cities that values and supports a diverse and eclectic restaurant scene.

Though The Brooklyn itself doesn’t host large group meetings or events, there is newly renovated event space on both the main level and second floor of the clubhouse. The Stirling Ballroom can accommodate up to 300 guests for a meeting or tableside dining and includes audio-visual capabilities and access to expansive outdoor patio space. Located on the second floor of the clubhouse are the Highlands Ballroom and some breakout spaces. The Highlands Ballroom features a terrace overlooking the golf course perfect for anything from corporate meetings to weddings and other ceremonies.

“Ultimately, both The Brooklyn and D’Amico Catering are ecstatic to have joined the incredible hospitality scene in Brooklyn Park, and we’re very much looking forward to celebrating with all our guests, both on and off the course,” says the D’Amico team.
