The Fontainebleau Miami Beach has just revealed updates to its hotel, including a fresh design for Versailles Tower and updates to the hotel’s poolside cabanas. Jeffrey Beers International, LLC, led the Versailles Tower project while Clausen-Collaborative Interior Design worked on the cabanas.

The Versailles Tower
The overall look of the historic Versailles Tower now matches the resort’s famed Chateau Tower through the Jeffrey Beers team’s commitment to aligning with the same luxury feeling of the building’s original architecture. Designers worked with the hotel to curate two entirely new room categories known as the Executive One Bedroom Suite and the Grand One Bedroom Suite. New design elements include polished metal accents, a geometrical headboard, custom nightstands with integrated power for ease of charging electronic devices and custom vintage-inspired nightstand lamps.
In select suites, the team installed Jonathan Adler chandeliers; black and white, hand-sketched artwork from Fontainebleau Miami Beach’s architect, Morris Lapidus; custom upholstered panels with metal accents throughout living and dining spaces; entry wallcovering inspired by the iconic bowtie lobby floor; and new walk-in closets.
Standout Suites
The Executive One Bedroom Suite and Grand One Bedroom Suite—offering some of the largest square footage around—are ideal locations for guests hosting intimate parties and special occasions. The Executive suite, complete with 270-degree views of the Atlantic Ocean and Biscayne Bay, includes a separate room with a master bath, oversized jetted tub and glass-enclosed shower and an adjoining parlor equipped with a wet bar, dining table, sofa and a second half-bath. Along with its master bedroom, which features an oversized jet whirlpool tub and stand-alone shower, The Grand Suite offers a variety of amenities such as a large dining room table, wet bar, 55” high-definition flat screen TVs and an extra half-bath.
Poolside Cabanas
While the Clausen-Collaborative Interior Design worked on the poolside cabanas, they also remodeled the resort’s presidential suites, and optimized the flexibility and privacy of all 33 luxurious guest retreats. Guest can now lounge under modern Haiku ceiling fans and on the new sofas and loveseats, setting their drinks on the staggered-height coffee tables. The new interior design provides comfort and character. Wood panels offering privacy, plush poufs by innovative Italian furniture designer Paola Lenti and an assortment of conveniences, including mini refrigerator, Internet, and flat-screen TV, are just a few of the many detailed, convenient and customized amenities offered in each cabana.
