Fred Findlen has been hired as the general manager position at the Hyatt Regency Maui Resort and Spa. Findlen brings 31 years of experience to his new position, Most recently, he served as general manager at Hyatt Regency Lake Tahoe Resort, Spa, and Casino.
“Fred brings a wealth of knowledge of Hyatt Hotels and Resorts to Hyatt Regency Maui Resort and Spa,” says David Nadelman, area vice president and general manager, Hyatt Regency Waikiki Beach Resort and Spa. “His extensive background in managing Hyatt resorts across country in tropical destinations will provide fantastic value in enhancing the award-winning resort and team.”
His career began at Hyatt in corporate management as a trainee in 1985. Moving up the ladder, he held multiple positions at different Hyatt Resorts nationwide and internationally. After years of being assistant general manager, he received his first general manager position in 2001. Findlen is excited to start somewhere new again for 2017 and Maui is a great opportunity to do so.
