This year, IMEX America is focusing on creativity and engagement by adding a new Play Rom and education sessions from both entertainment and meeting professionals with the hopes of providing a fresh look at meeting planning. The Play Room is powered by Play With A Purpose and will offer attendees an interactive and hands on place to be creative.
The Play Room will feature a variety of tools and techniques, giving planners useable ideas to implement in meetings during quirkshops during Smart Monday and on the Inspiration Hub throughout the showcase. The quirkshops will cover topics including networking tools, design, technology and teambuilding ideas. The Play Room hopes to enable planners to create more creative and engaging meetings.
“In a rapidly evolving marketplace, it’s essential to stay up to date with the latest trends and develop a fresh approach to planning and hosting meetings. Our new Play Room is an exciting new addition to IMEX America,” said Carina Bauer, CEO of IMEX Group. “When combined with our creative education sessions and the outstanding line up of MPI Keynotes, we hope to provide delegates with the latest business practices which they can take back and apply to their meetings.”
Additionally, the Inspiration Hub will feature a dedicated creative learning track with sessions designed to increase attendee engagement with keynotes that include Tim David’s Human connection – a lost art in a noisy world and Josh Tickell’s Keynote Managing and marketing to the future of Generation Y.
In addition to the Creative Learning education sessions, there will be nine other specialty tracks including business skills, marketing & communications, risk management & compliance, technology & social media, trends & research, health wellbeing, diversity, sustainability and general education.
