Throughout the month of October, the InterContinental Chicago Magnificent Mile Hotel will extend its Dive-In Movie Series to include a selection of kid-friendly “spooky” films in the spirit of Halloween.
Each Saturday night now through Oct. 26, guests can gather inside the historic pool to enjoy fresh popcorn and movies while relaxing in a complimentary floaty.
“The Dive-In Movie Series was originally planned for just the summer months. The movie series has be-come such a fan favorite among guests that we have decided to extend it throughout the year,” says Drew Mailloux, director of communications.
During the month of October, all of the hotel’s feature films have a Halloween twist, including favorites like “Beetlejuice,” “Hocus Pocus,” “Paranorman” and “Frankenweenie.”
Can’t make the October series? Don’t sweat, the hotel plans to extend its movie series into the holiday season as well.
