Based on guest reviews, Trivago.com has named two Key West hotels one of America’s Best for 2017. The winning hotels, Marquesa Hotel placed third in the 4-star category and Almond Tree Inn placed sixth in its 3-star category. The rankings are based on 175 million traveler ratings.
The awards recognize the 40 best properties in the United States divided in four categories: 5-Star, 4-Star, 3-Star and Alternative Accommodation categories.
“It’s really an honor for Key West to have two such highly ranked properties,” says Harold Wheeler, director, Florida Keys tourism council. “For Key West to be commended as one of only five U.S. destinations with more than one winning hotel is remarkable.”
