Andaz Mayakoba Resort Riviera Maya has named Lin Schatz as the general manage; she will oversee the opening of the property in December 2016 and manage the pre-opening stages and all property operations. Schatz, a hospitality and Hyatt veteran, started his career at Hyatt Hotels Corporation and has been there for more than 25 years. He previously served as the general manager for Andaz West Hollywood in Los Angeles and other locations including Hyatt Key West. The resort features 214 guestrooms including 41 luxury suites, a 10,000-square-foot spa, four restaurants and bars, three outdoor pools and a Caribbean beach.
