Meeting Professionals International has expanded the offerings in their Executive Education Series.
The series was developed in order to further education opportunities for senior-level and executive meeting professionals, and mid-level professionals aspiring to leadership. The new courses feature women in leadership and emergency preparedness. The Experiential Event program was also introduced and provides experience in sports, culinary, entertainment, and mega-event categories, with the option to qualify as designated Experiential Event Professionals.
“I cannot be more pleased with the progress we have made with MPI Academy since it launched two years ago. Our members tell us year after year that education is one of the most important benefits of their MPI membership so it is important we continue to strengthen our portfolio of offerings with fresh, relevant and timely courses,” says Paul Van Deventer, president and CEO of MPI. “The average MPI member has between 10 to 20 years of experience and they have been seeking more immersive and insightful educational programs that are comparable to what they may experience in graduate school. We believe the MPI Executive Education Series will meet that need.”
The courses will be offered at various conferences in a range of locations. New webinars are available weekly for MPI members, and other course offerings are expanding. Online versions of Meeting Essentials2 and Going Local will launch soon, and e-learning modules of Basics Bootcamp: Meeting Fundamentals will launch in 2018, in partnership with InterContinental Hotel Group.
