New Golf-Themed Gastro Pub Opens at Hilton Chicago/Oak Brook Hills Resort & Conference Center

By M+E Staff

A new gastro pub, Tin Cup, located at the Hilton Chicago/Oak Brook Hills Resort & Conference Center has officially opened its doors.

Formerly The Grille, the restaurant can hold 88 guests and now features a new menu and design.

“Tin Cup has that gathering place vibe, where friends can meet up to enjoy a freshly made salad or sandwich,” says Brad Ott, director of operations. “There’s a casual air about it, conducive to hoisting a cold one after a hard-day of work or a hard-played 18 holes.”

The restaurant features American pub-style cuisine; menu highlights include 19th Hole Angus Beef Sliders, Sweet Potato Fries, Fried Cod Fritters & Chips, Cobb Salad, 9-Iron Steak Salad, Pastrami Sandwich, Popcorn Shrimp Wrap and the Tin Cup Burger topped with thick-cut bacon.

Worldly wines by the glass and domestic/regional/imported beers are offered, with taps that feature local micro brews including Downers Grove-based Alter Brewing.

Tin Cup will offer a Happy Hour Monday through Thursday from 3–6 p.m., with $3 draft beer, $7 well drinks, $8 loaded nachos, $7 Bogey Wings and $5 chips and salsa.

The seating are includes a 40-seat patio with a patio that offers a Bags gaming area, heat lamps and fire pits, and live music every Friday beginning in May.

Golf simulator rooms with private bar tables and stools and more than 80 international courses all from one location. The full-swing simulators by Foresight Sports give a true-to-life virtual experience and an honest evaluation of every shot. Valid for up to four players, the golf simulator experience costs $35 per hour, Monday – Thursday and $45 per hour, Friday–Sunday.
