Pine Ridge Vineyards in Napa Valley announced the opening of Cellar 47, its new tasting alcove located in the Stags Leap District Winery. It was named for the 47 acres of estate vineyards they own within the district.
The room, which was designed by architect Michael Guthrie, can host exclusive parties for up to 30 people. There will be two options for tasting, the Savor Pine Ridge. which will be offered daily at 11 a.m., and The Appellation Tasting, which occurs daily at 2 p.m. The Savor Pine Ridge tasting features five cabernet sauvignons, while The Appellation Tasting features a vertical tasting from Napa Valley vineyards. Both tastings are paired with a food sampling.
“This new alcove is warm and intimate and provides a great place to showcase our Stags Leap District cabernet sauvignon along with our other best-of-class Napa Valley wines,” says Michael Beaulac, winemaker and general manager, Pine Ridge Vineyards.
