André Priemer was appointed general manager of Resort at Squaw Creek in Lake Tahoe. This appointment was made by Greg Miller, the vice president and managing director of Destination Hotels.
Priemer has held the position of resort manager for Resort at Squaw Creek for the past two years. His previous experience also includes positions as manager at Doubletree by Hilton Orlando at SeaWorld and the Hilton Ft. Lauderdale Marina. He was awarded his Bachelor of Arts in hospitality management from the College for Hotel Management located in Marburg, Germany.
Priemer spent his time at Doubletree and the Hilton at Fort Lauderdale working through $35 million and $75 million renovations, respectively. He has also played a big role in winning awards like the Hotel Developer of the Year in 2009 and Top 100 Companies for Working Families in 2010.
A AAA Four Diamond resort, Resort at Squaw Creek has plenty of winter activities including skiing, ice skating, and dog sledding. Along with several restaurants, a full-service spa, and shopping nearby. It has been named one of Condé Nast Traveler’s “Top 50 Ski Hotels” in North America and has also been put on the “Top 150 Resorts: U.S. Mainland.”
