Northstar Meetings Group and its leading brands, Meetings & Conventions and Successful Meetings, recently announced the 2018 recipients of the 2nd Annual Stella Awards, including the Revere Hotel Boston Common, which was awarded Best Hotel in the North East.
A total of 294 organizations from around the globe were honored for delivering excellence, quality service and innovation to meetings and event professionals. The list of award-winners is now available on the Northstar Meetings Group website and can be filtered to find winners by property type or region.
Nearly 10,000 votes were cast from around the world for the 532 destinations, hotels and service providers nominated in six regions in the United States and worldwide for 18 categories. Nominees include the very best hotels, convention centers, conference centers, convention and visitor bureaus, destination marketing organizations, destination management companies, airlines and cruise lines.
Winners were then selected by an expert panel of judges. Stella Award Winners are recognized for achieving overall excellence, superb food and beverage, professionalism of staff, technology innovations, and other critical aspects of the meetings and event experience.
