The Santa Fe Community Convention Center replaced all Wi-Fi hotspots throughout the building with a better model that includes the cloud. The update allows the facility to handle 100+ people to connect per hot spot. The Convention Center is also updating their bandwidth connection to accommodate for larger groups to have online access in the ballroom for up to 960 people.

The Drury Plaza Hotel has recently gone under extensive renovations including a year-,round heated rooftop pool, gallery space, and an outdoor sculpture park. The building was formerly St. Vincent Hospital and hosts 182 guest rooms.

Rosewood Inn of the Anasazi unveiled a full guestroom renovation since it’s opening 22 years ago. Now the rooms feature handcrafted wooden furniture, new carpeting and flooring and upgraded bathrooms. The décor features local artists and artisans from the area.

The Inn of the Governors has become environmentally conscious. Under a green initiative, the hotel has made improvements such as composting food waste, changing to bulk toiletries, making a transition to more tap beer to save bottles, and incorporating locally raised beef into the menu.

Hotel Santa Fe The Hacienda and Spa has a new executive chef. Chef Walter Dominguez has been with the hotel for six years, as the chef de cuisine previously. The hotel’s restaurant, the Amaya, is now located in an indoor/outdoor room to better enjoy the wonderful Santa Fe weather.

The Inn and Spa at Loretto has plans to renovate and expand their outdoor sculpture garden. The space is located right outside the Zuni Ballroom with sculptures, green grass, and shade trees making it the perfect space for group activities.

La Posada de Santa Fe Resort & Spa is now affiliated with Starwood Hotels & Resorts and is now included in the Starwood Luxury Collection. The property was purchased by 1754 Properties in 2013 and aligned with Starwood. Since then $200,000 has been put into training and customer service to ensure exceptional service.
