Sheraton Gateway Los Angeles Hotel Opens New On-Property Bar and Bistro

By M+E Staff

The Sheraton Gateway Los Angeles Hotel has wrapped up their multimillion dollar renovations, debuting a revamp of their on-property restaurant, Costero California Bar and Bistro.

“Costero is the perfect blend of upscale casual dining with a convenient yet inviting environment,” says Bill Sinclair, vice president, Sheraton Gateway Los Angeles Hotel. “This fresh-from-California approach not only provides guests with a new on-site dining option but a place where they can get together with friends, family and coworkers, or even make new connections.”

Costero is a fusion of old and new; executive chef Orazio Parisi emphasizes local, fresh flavors and a California spin on standard American cuisine. They have a new selection of local craft beers made in Venice Beach, Los Angeles and Torrance on tap and in bottles. They also serve more than 50 different wines from California and around the globe.

The new menu features a range of small plates, Neopolitan pizzas, soups, artisanal salads, sandwiches, entrees and desserts. There also will be a rotating seasonal menu of the chef’s creations.

The bar area was also updated with features such as a jumbo Video Wall supported by TVs, providing a space for guests to enjoy small bites and drinks. The bar includes communal tables with charging stations for guests to use while they eat.

Costero is the most recent remodel for the 802-room hotel and is now open to guests.
