Popular lakeside meetings and events destination The Abbey Resort and Avani Spa has announced the completion of major renovations to Abbey Harbor on Lake Geneva as well as the resort’s all-new outdoor pavilion.
Recent changes can be spotted from the Abbey Harbor, just feet from the resort, where the Abbey Marina received new landscaping to provide a buffer between the pedestrian walkways and parking areas, improved boat slips, new decking and water service pedestals as well as pier floats. The marina’s traditional timber wall was also replaced by a more timeless and durable steel pile wall. The Abbey Harbor is a popular spot for group activities including water sports and boat cruises on Lake Geneva as well as team team-building activities like Sailing Synergy, Pontoon Pursuits, an Abbey Regatta and more.
The West Shore Pavilion, which was completed last week and can accommodate up to 600 guests, features six chandeliers, glass windows, a polished cement floor, white drapery and a canopy-covered ADA accessible sidewalk.
To celebrate the completion of these meeting space renovations and enhancements, The Abbey Resort and Avani Spa will be offering experiential add-ons to meetings and groups booking an event with the resort including discounted spa and audio-visual services, complimentary receptions and private bonfires. Meeting guests at The Abbey Resort can also enjoy complimentary amenities like s’mores at
evening resort-wide bonfires, access to the fitness center and swimming pools, and outdoor activities such as disc golf and hiking along the the resort’s picturesque lakeshore path. Experiential add-ons, however, are subject to availability (find more info here).
