The Ritz-Carlton Charlotte has transformed its ground-floor dining location to create Kinship, a craft cocktail lounge. It provides interactive beverage options, authentic Latin small plates and a menu curated by Chef Juan Pablo de la Sota Riva.
The beverage services—Kinship Flask Service—is unique. It offers guests cocktails served in a flask that is left on the table so guests can replenish their drink as needed. They also offer smoked beverages, including the Smoked Pineapple Pear, which is made with smoked Hennessy, fresh pineapple and pear juice.
“We’ve been rethinking the lobby lounge concept for many years, and we’re excited about Kinship’s contemporary new combination of beverage interactivity, intimate seating and truly standout menu items,” says David Rothwell, general manager. “From the new bar experience to authentic Latin bites from Chef Juan Pablo, the offering at Kinship is different, elegant and ideally suited to sophisticated guests and travelers.”
