The Greater Wildwoods Tourism and Development Authority’s John Siciliano is among the top six finalists for the Best Growth Manager for the NJBIZ CFO of the Year Award for 2016. Siciliano was nominated for outstanding leadership in his role as Executive Director/CFO at GWTIDA.

The nominees were selected from companies across the state, including Hackensack Meridian Health Network, Case Real Estate Capital LLC, STOPit, Commvault and Modway Inc. The nominees were all recognized on Oct. 14 by NJBIZ and many other industry professionals.

“It is truly an honor to be recognized as a finalist alongside these accomplished CFO’s,” says Siciliano, executive director and CFO, GWTIDA. “My goal with the Board of Directors and staff of GWTIDA is to continually implement new and innovative ways to retain our position as a leader in the travel and tourism industry.”

The Wildwoods area is becoming a more popular destination for family vacations—with 2015 being a record-breaking tourism year. Wildwoods saw $1.5 billion in tourism spending, a 4.9 percent increase from 2014. This has had a positive effect on the area’s economy, as they’ve experienced 2.2 percent growth, equating to 5,660 new jobs and a $129 million in tax revenue.
