The Williamsburg Inn Continues Multi-Stage Renovations

By M+E Staff

The Colonial Williamsburg Foundation in Virginia has announced the next part of its renovation, which will enhance the inn’s exteriors as well as its food and beverage menu. This includes a new restaurant, a reflection pool and private event spaces. The inn halted reservations on Jan. 22 but is set to reopen in April 2017.

“We are excited about the upcoming plans for the Williamsburg Inn, which, once complete, will usher in a new chapter for this historically significant hotel,” says Florencio Ferrao, vice president of hospitality, Colonial Williamsburg. “The renovations represent the Colonial Williamsburg Foundation’s deep commitment to preserving the Inn’s legacy while continually refining the guest experience with luxurious accommodations, authentic experiences and outstanding food and beverage offerings.”

The Williamsburg Inn is on the National Trust for Historic Preservation Historic Hotels of America and Leading Hotels of the World.
