Wailea Beach Resort has completed their $100 million renovation, which made its debut in late December.
The 22-acre, updated resort will feature six culinary options, three pools, 547 updated rooms and suites, new indoor and outdoor event spaces, a fitness center and spa. The totally updated design is inspired by the resort’s proximity to the Wailea shoreline and has a clean, simplistic aesthetic.
“We are thrilled to introduce guests and the community to our transformed resort, and to the enduring and evolving spirit of Maui that makes a visit to the island so memorable,” says Thomas Foti, general manager, Wailea Beach Resort – Marriott, Maui. “With a rich history as Wailea’s first resort and our desirable location just steps from the water’s edge, we look forward to welcoming our guests to discover the new Wailea Beach Resort.”
The redesigned guestrooms have new furniture, in-room technology like mirror-casting and music streaming; every room has an outdoor balcony.
The new restaurants include, Humble Market Kitchin by Roy Yamaguchi, KAPA Bar & Grill, Whale’s Tale, and Mo Bettah Food Truck and NALU Pool Bar.
The hotel has 30,000 square feet of indoor meeting space and 72,000 square feet of outdoor event space offered at the resort.
