For the sixth year in a row, Woodloch Pines in Hawley, Pa., has been named one of the best hotels for families by TripAdvisor. It ranks 17th in the United States, according to their annual Travelers’ Choice Awards. Their sister property, The Lodge at Woodloch, was listed the 22nd best hotel in America.
“We are thrilled to be honored by the TripAdvisor community again this year. It is humbling to see our resort that has been in my family for nearly 60 years, among so many amazing properties and national brands,” said John Kiesendahl, CEO and President of Woodloch Pines. “And to be included in the top three on this list for the past six years in a row, I can’t express the gratitude and emotions I feel.”
TripAdvisor is the world’s largest online travel community and the site is home to millions of travelers’ reviews. Award winners are selected through an algorithm that factors in both the quantity and quality of the reviews over a 12-month period. Based off this, the award places Woodloch Pines Resort and The Lodge at Woodloch in the top one percent of hotels around the world.
