The largest hotel company in the world, Wyndham Hotel Group, has 16 iconic brands with about 8,000 hotels.
Recently, they’ve added Dolce Washington Dulles, part of the meetings brand Dolce Hotels and Resorts. Dolce Washington Dulles is under construction, and is due to open late in 2018. The hotel will feature 243 guest rooms and 13,000 square feet of meeting space.
“With steady, growing demand for group and meetings travel, Wyndham is as committed as ever to serving this segment and creating new ways to enhance the meeting planner experience,” says Eliot Hamlisch, vice president, global sales for Wyndham Hotel Group. “Our hotels offer more than 10 million square feet of meeting and event space—and growing—covering the needs of every type of planner whether they’re organizing a large conference, looking for a unique teambuilding meeting or opting for personalized service for a special event.”
With the growing meetings and events industry, Wyndham has added more than 200 new meeting spaces to meet the demand. In the next 10 years, meeting sizes are expected to go up by 3–6 percent all over the world. Additionally 42 percent of planners expect budgets to increase by 1–5 percent in the future.
Wyndham continues to expand their portfolio to provide meeting and event planners with the best features and offerings. In addition to Dolce Washington Dulles, Wyndham has also opened new spaces like The Antlers, Ramada Plaza Konya, Ramada Jiaxing, Wyndham Quito Airport, Ramada Resort Dundalk, and Ramada Hotel & Suites Istanbul Golden Horn; many more developments are in the pipeline.
