Erika Welling was recently appointed general manager of PRA Las Vegas.
1. What are you looking forward to the most in your new role?
Working with the impressive and inspiring PRA talent with a great local reputation and international reach.
2. How do you think past experiences have prepared you for this role?
I’ve worked in many sectors and served in numerous roles in the hospitality industry. This position is a natural fit for my background encompassing an extensive range of services touching on operations, leadership, creativity and my passion for Las Vegas.
3. How did you get into the industry?
A widely known outlet mall was interested in my art background to drive marketing efforts in the hospitality industry. I quickly realized this was a relationship-driven industry and to be successful I needed to be actively involved in hospitality industry associations. Although by accident, my fondness for the hospitality industry grew rapidly and I knew this was the career path I wanted to pursue.
4. What are you hoping to achieve in your new role?
My desire is to showcase the creative spirit of the Las Vegas PRA team and the stellar service they provide our clients each and every time.
5. What do you enjoy most about the industry?
Relationships are number one and that each event experience can be so different and interesting.
