Here is just a snapshot of the latest additions in Colorado. The Colorado Tourism Office’s list was long and impressive, so we narrowed it down to standouts for groups to check out.
Activities
City on the Side gives passengers the opportunity to experience Colorado from a completely unique perspective on a classic Russian Ural cT sidecar motorcycle. Four tours are planned for 2018, including Essential Denver City Tour, South Mountain Exploration, North Mountain Exploration and Peak to Peak/Estes Park.
Earth Treks Climbing and Fitness is debuting its newest gym in Englewood this year. Encompassing more than 53,000 square feet, it is the largest climbing gym in the United States. In addition to roped climbing and bouldering terrain, there is a yoga studio, functional fitness and cardio zones, training areas, climbing classes and more.
Lodging News
Head south on Highway 285 to Buena Vista and find peace and productivity at Mount Princeton Hot Springs Resort in nearby Nathrop. The resort is debuting 25 new guest rooms overlooking Chalk Creek and located east of the Main Lodge in June.
Culinary & Market Scene
Slated to open this summer and anchored by The Maven hotel, Dairy Block is Denver’s newest micro-district. Originally the location of Windsor Dairy, Dairy Block will feature restaurants, innovative retailers, cocktail bars and Milk Market, a food hall by acclaimed chef Frank Bonanno.
The latest addition to the Colorado Springs beer and food scene is Oskar Blues Grill & Brew. Located in the heart of downtown, highlights include underground bocce courts, a patio and 48 rotating Oskar Blues and other American craft beers on tap.
There also is a new Oskar Blues Grill & Brew on the 1600 block of Market Street in Denver’s LoDo district with a Southerninspired menu and 48 beers on tap. The location pays homage to rock legends and includes a downstairs music venue, The Black Buzzard, that is fully equipped with A/V capabilities for private events.
