Denver’s Museums & Gardens Provide Fun Oppotunities for Groups

By M+E Staff

These fun options provide opportunities for smaller groups to join in or perhaps larger groups can ask for something similar.

Denver Art Museum
Untitled Final Fridays, February – October, 6-10 p.m

DAM’s monthly late night program features workshops, performances and tours with a twist. For example, on July 29, gather a crew and band together for a night of synchronized moves and creative collaborations. On Sept. 30, it’s all about dance, photography and artworks expressing time.

Denver Museum of Nature & Science
Science Lounge, third Thursday of the month, 6:30-9:30 p.m.

This quirky and entertaining gathering can range from a scientist jamming on a guitar, henna tattoos, recreating the Dakota hogback with Cocoa Puffs, and sipping wine and eating chocolate all in the name of science.

Denver Botanic Gardens
Summer Concert Series, June – September, usually 6:30 p.m.

Concerts at York Street provide a one-of-a-kind live music experience surrounded by lush flowers, sculptures and gorgeous sunsets. Concerts at Chatfield Farms in Littleton offer a rustic setting with mountain vistas and wideopen spaces.

Clyfford Still Museum
Lawn Concerts – June 17, July 15, Aug. 19, 5:30-7:30 p.m.
Clyfford Still Museum and Swallow Hill Music Association are presenting three free summer lawn concerts on the third Fridays of June, July and August in the museum’s forecourt. Bring a blanket, lawn chairs and picnic and enjoy free museum admission.
