Groups can experience the grandeur of Chaco Culture National Historical Park with an expanded schedule of guided day trips offered through Albuquerque’s Hotel Chaco. Day trips are available every Saturday, from March through November, and overnight glamping excursions coincide with the spring and fall equinoxes in March and September. Day trip participants enjoy a gourmet picnic lunch prepared by Hotel Chaco’s chefs. Customized day or overnight trips are available on other dates.
Hotel Chaco, a 118-room boutique hotel located in Old Town Albuquerque, was inspired by the ancient architecture and civilization of Chaco Canyon and launched the tours last year with Heritage Inspirations, LLC. Chaco Canyon, now a UNESCO World Heritage Site, was home to a thriving Pueblo culture between 850-1250 A.D.
