New Lodging Properties for Glacier Country

By M+E Staff

Western Montana’s Glacier Country is benefitting from four new lodging properties in Kalispell, Whitefish and Columbia Falls. Several properties also have renovated, including Flathead Lake Lodge on the east shore of Flathead Lake near Bigfork, which upgraded cabins with new wood floors and remodeled bathrooms.

The Firebrand Hotel, located in the heart of downtown Whitefish, was recently launched by the owners of The Lodge at Whitefish Lake. The boutique hotel features 86 rooms, a fitness center, on-site spa services, restaurant, rooftop patio and 750 square feet of meeting space, as well as a board room with the latest in smart technology.

Hampton Inn & Suites opened just south of downtown Whitefish in April with 76 guest rooms, 1,000 square feet of meeting space, an indoor pool and hot tub, fitness center and golf simulator room.

Cedar Creek Lodge and Convention Center, situated a bit closer to Glacier National Park in Columbia Falls, celebrated the opening of Cedar Creek Lodge and Convention Center this summer. With 64 rooms and 3,000 square feet of meeting space, the lodge is modeled after the grand lodges of Glacier National Park and has open beam timbers and pitched rooflines.

SpringHill Suites by Marriott opened a 101-suite property in Kalispell with 1,275 square feet of meeting space and indoor pool in late May
