New Venue Spotlight: NOAH’S Event Venue

By Roger Gordon

NOAH’S Event Venue is determined to carve out a niche in the event industry. “We’re unlike any other event venue because we’re national,” says Kirsten Mussi, the venue’s vice president of public relations. “When people walk into NOAH’S, they get the kind of customer service they’d get from a small company but with a lot of the amenities, experience and benefits of working with a larger, established corporation.”

NOAH’S Event Venue in Auburn Hills opened in September, one of 28 locations across the country. It’s a one-story building with hardwood floors throughout, with four private event spaces. The main hall can accommodate up to 300 guests for a seated dinner and up to 350 for a strolling cocktail party. Another room can hold up to 80 guests for a seated affair and up to 200 standing. Two boardrooms can accommodate up to 18 guests each.

The main hall features an electric stage that can be raised for a head table or presentation. It also offers such amenities as a high-definition projector, an electrical screen, surround sound, DirecTV, satellite radio and HDMI, many of which are also available in the other rooms. Free Wi-Fi is accessible throughout.

Groups can rent the entire building. Large corporate events typically use the main hall for the focal event and the smaller ones for breakout sessions.

NOAH’S offers an open vendor policy for caterers; it uses MISS Mixology for bartending. Planners can check venue availability, schedule a tour and book events directly through the NOAH’S website. Mussi says those sorts of customer-friendly touches are key to the NOAH’S experience.

“It’s upscale but very comfortable, very welcoming,” she says. “We want NOAH’S to feel like an extension of your home or office. We can do a casual business meeting but, at the same time, we have the elegance for something more high-end.”
