New Year, New Look at The Heathman Hotel

By M+E Staff

There’s nothing like starting off the New Year with a new look. Just ask The Heathman Hotel in downtown Kirkland, Washington. The hotel has just completed its multimillion-dollar renovation of its 91 guest rooms and suites.

Conceived by Interior Design International Inc., the new design celebrates the city of Kirkland and its history: Natural woven textiles pay tribute to Kirkland as the location of the first woolen mill in the state, and each guest floor showcases the region’s scenery, from Puget Sound to the Cascade Mountains. All guestrooms now include media hubs and complimentary high-speed Wi-Fi. The renovation also includes a variety of luxury suites with signature themes — including the Gallery Suites, the Terrace Suites and the Healthman Suite — and dual-sided fireplaces and living rooms.

In addition to the on-site Trellis Restaurant, The Heathman Hotel has 4,555 square feet of meeting and event space, which can accommodate up to 200 guests.
