Antonelli’s Cheese Shop in Austin has started taking its popular cheese-tasting events on the road, where it’s become a novel experience at offices, corporate events and meetings.
Tailored after the cheese shop’s popular Cheese 101 classes, a corporate event entails a two-hour cheese-tasting guide by Antonelli’s knowledgable cheesemongers. During the interactive event, the cheese shop will serve a half pound of cheese per guest featuring the “Seven Styles of Cheese,” as well as jams, mustard, honey, olives, almonds and Easy Tiger bread.
Antonelli’s Cheese Shop sources the finest artisanal cheeses, carrying more than 200 varieties in addition to cured meats, sundries, beer and wine. Providing cut-toorder service and a relaxed “taste before you buy” experience is the cornerstone of Antonelli’s Cheese Shop, which was founded by husband and wife team John and Kendall Antonelli in February 2010.
The couple also operates the Cheese House in Austin. Located directly across the street from Antonelli’s Cheese Shop, the Cheese House is designed for cheese education and tasting events, and is available for private bookings. Antonelli’s Cheese House is also available for catered events.
