Cookie Good, a Santa Monica gourmet bakery opened by husband-and-wife team Ross and Melanie Canter, has become a favorite sweets caterer for local movie studios, talent agencies, game developers and tech companies. Cookies, bars and brownies—including gluten-free options—are offered in 100 rotating flavors, from Caramel Pretzel Chocolate Chunk (the most popular) to Pancakes & Bacon. Labels and flavors can be customized and the sprinkle colors of the Birthday Cake Cookie personalized to match a company logo.
Cookie Good has wrapped cookies with custom logo labels for Hula, Facebook, Microsoft, Pixar and Sony, among others. They created a new flavor for Bad Robot Productions, the company co-owned by J.J. Abrams that’s behind hits like “Alias,” “Lost,” “Westworld” and “Star Wars: The Force Awakens.” A spin-off of its red velvet cookie, it has dark chocolate chips, Heath Bar bits and M&M “eyes” that match the robot logo.
