Situated in the heart of Paradise Valley only minutes from Scottsdale, Hermosa Inn recently completed the second phase of a $5.5 million-dollar project that included the addition of 10 deluxe hideaway casitas, renovation of 12 historic rancho casitas and expansion of LON’s Last Drop bar and patio. Each new 700-square-foot casita features a vaulted ceiling, beehive fireplace, secluded patio and European white oak floors. A stately fountain anchors the hotel’s new entryway that leads into a refreshed lobby with beamed ceilings and a large fireplace. Phase one of the project commenced in 2015, soon after the resort was purchased by Allred Capital LLLP, which is committed to retaining the legacy and historic charm of the property that was originally the home and studio built by cowboy artist Lon Megargee in the early 1930s.
