Andaz Scottsdale Resort & Spa honors a handful of architects and famous artists who helped shaped Scottsdale, notables such as Frank Lloyd Wright, Alexander Girard and Paolo Soleri. Opened in late 2016, there are 201 guest rooms and suites located in clusters of casita-inspired bungalows, 10,000 square feet of indoor and 36,000 square feet of outdoor function space, three outdoor pools and Weft & Warp Art Bar + Kitchen. The look is desert-inspired, and the focus is on indigenous art, culture and cuisine. The Andaz is partnering with Cattle Track, an artistic compound only minutes from the resort, to provide live art demonstrations, tours of studios and artwork throughout the property.
Also opened in late 2016, Courtyard by Marriott Sedona has a beautiful lobby filled with wood and stone accents and offers the latest room layouts from the brand, which are ideal for sleeping, relaxing and preparing for the Arizona outdoors. Located only five minutes from Uptown Sedona and near miles of hiking and running trails, the property has two meeting rooms totaling 1,400 square feet for when it’s time to get down to business.
By the end of 2018, The Ritz-Carlton, Paradise Valley will open its doors less than a mile north of the new Andaz on Scottsdale Road. Set on 20 acres, in a $2 billion residential and retail development, the property features 200 suites and bungalow rooms, 20,000 square feet of meeting and event space, and the Grand Lobby with unobstructed views of Camelback Mountain. One of the most impressive features is a pool that is more than 400 feet in length.
