New Venue Spotlight: Venue One North Shore

By Maya Fanjul-Debnam

Chicago Bulls fans might remember the former Berto Center—once the basketball team’s training center—but on May 4, 2016, it became the latest fully functional event space in the northern suburbs. Venue One North Shore offers 85,000 square feet that can be used for meetings, celebrations and other private events for up to 1,500 people.

That includes 15,000 square feet of main event space, 7,000 square feet of prefunction space, 7,000 square feet of outdoor garden space and an exclusive wine room, as well as on-site culinary staff and advanced lighting and sound systems.

In the first year, Venue One North Shore has already been nominated for “Best Wedding Venue” in Make It Better’s Best of 2016 Awards. Additionally, it has held events for a range of clients including Crate and Barrel, Abbott Labs and Kohl Children’s Museum. Talk about a three-peat.
