The 4 Eleven Keeps Fort Worth’s South Main Revitalization Moving

By M+E Staff

The 4 Eleven at 411 South Main Street in Fort Worth is a mixed-use property that includes an event venue, several retail shops and space for a restaurant. The project involved transforming an 18,000-square-foot warehouse, which was slated to be demolished and replaced with a parking garage.

The property is nestled in the heart of Forth Worth’s up-and-coming South Main Village. “When we saw this building, we believed we had to do something special, and that it was the right thing to do for the neighborhood,” says Jana Clark, co-owner of 4 Eleven. “When you drive down South Main, you already see the renaissance that is happening. It feels fresh and energetic, like watching a new season bloom. For me, it’s where my dreams are coming true; community, collaboration, design, culinary and artistic expression have collided under one roof at The 4 Eleven. Working with my daughter, Jessie, and a staff of creatives makes every day super exciting. The whole area is now an incubator for dreamers, movers and shakers.”

The 4 Eleven tenants include Winton and Waits, a home goods and accessories store, Greenhouse 817, a locally owned botanical design studio; LTO, featuring furniture and decorative accessories, and Alchemy Pops, which offers handmade artisan frozen pops. Each store has its own entrance on South Main Street and is also accessible through the main public entrance. The property includes 18,000 square feet of space, which is ideal for a fullservice restaurant and bar.

In addition to retail shops, The 4 Eleven offers a 6,300-square-foot venue that allows for customizable floor plans and room for up to 420 guests.

The event space in the main warehouse reveals its industrial past with exposed beams, duct work and white brick walls. Two staircases lead to an open mezzanine with expansive windows providing natural light and views of the surrounding area. The outdoor space includes a courtyard with rustic brick walls and an ivy-adorned garden patio providing two distinct areas for celebrating outdoors.

The venue offers a catering kitchen as well as an on-staff event producer, Karl Marshall. Marshall, a 20-year industry veteran, previously worked as the director of special events for the Dallas Market Center.

The 4 Eleven is mere blocks from downtown Fort Worth, the Fort Worth Convention Center and multiple hotels, restaurants and entertainment venues.
