By M+E Staff

Portland, Oregon, continues to enjoy a boom in hotel construction. Next year will see a number of new lodging options open:

Hilton is introducing its luxury PORTER PORTLAND CURIO COLLECTION BY HILTON to downtown Portland in March 2018. The hotel will feature 297 rooms, two restaurants, and more than 5,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor function space.

Hilton is also bringing its Canopy lifestyle brand to the city’s Pearl District, making Portland one of only 17 cities worldwide to develop a property in this portfolio, each one unique. Scheduled to open in June 2018 at NW Glisan Street and NW Ninth Avenue, the CANOPY BY HILTON PORTLAND PEARL DISTRICT will feature 153 rooms and more than 2,800 square feet of meeting space.

The 19-story BROADWAY TOWER, located on SW Broadway between SW Columbia and SW Clay Street, is scheduled for completion late 2018. In addition to 175,000 square feet of Class A office space, the tower will include the 180- room RADISSON RED PORTLAND on the first eight floors. The “millennial-focused” hotel appeals to tech-savvy guests with hotel check-in, room access, and food and beverage service all managed from a smartphone app. Additional amenities include free Wi-Fi, the on-site restaurant OUIBar + KTCHN, three large meeting rooms, an events and game studio, and an additional second-floor bar area.

The opening of the WOODLARK HOTEL has been scheduled for the summer of 2018. Located in the renovated Woodlark Building and Cornelius Hotel, the 151- room hotel will include 2,500 square feet of meeting space.
