The latest addition to Traverse City’s booming winery scene will double as a stunning lookout point.
Rove Estate Vineyard and Winery, slated to open this spring, is the project of Creighton and McKenzie Gallagher. The couple’s Leelanau Peninsula location for their 2,000-square-foot tasting room is a 1,100-foot perch—making it the highest vineyard and tasting room in Leelanau County. A wraparound deck will allow visitors to fully take in the views.
Rove Estate, which is working with Coenraad Stassen and Brys Estate on Old Mission Peninsula to produce `its wines, will be available for special events.
