If you’ve braved crossing Vancouver’s iconic Capilano Suspension Bridge (I have!) and are looking for a new challenge, Whistler opened its new 427-footlong (give or take a half inch) suspension bridge this summer—the Cloudraker Skybridge—and it’s a doozy. Located at the peak of Whistler Mountain, the bridge is at an elevation of approximately 7,200 feet above sea level, making it one of the highest elevated suspension bridges in the world. The bridge will be open in the summer (and to skiers and snowboarders in the winter) and includes a viewing platform with 360-degree, picture-perfect views.
